$10M grant for Michigan highschool seniors

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A brand new grant goals to extend FAFSA completion for Michigan highschool seniors.

The Michigan Division of Lifelong Schooling, Development, and Potential (MiLEAP), introduced, Monday, Oct. 14, the implementation of the Common Free Utility for Federal Scholar Support (FAFSA) Challange Grant.

The grant goals to extend FAFSA completion amongst Michigan highschool seniors, increasing entry to secondary training help techniques in native colleges and communities.

“Completing the FAFSA is a critical step for students seeking financial aid for college,” stated Dr. Beverly Walker-Griffea, director of MiLEAP.

U-M awarded $3.6M to check post-surgery ache administration

The Common FAFSA Problem Grant can be accessible to native districts and public faculty academies.

“This grant initiative is a fantastic opportunity to help Michigan students turn their dreams of post-secondary education into reality,” stated Michelle Richard, deputy director of upper training at MiLEAP. Including, “When students fill out the FAFSA they’re not just filling out a form – they’re opening the door to vital federal and state funding opportunities.”
