15,000 absentee ballots unaccounted for in upcoming Lansing metropolis main election

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Roughly 15,000 absentee ballots haven’t been returned, with only one week left till the first election on Aug. 5.

Metropolis officers are urging voters to make use of one of many 13 official Lansing drop containers to return accomplished ballots.

This 12 months’s main will slender down the listing of candidates for Mayor, Metropolis Council At Giant, and 4th Ward Metropolis Council, and vote on a proposal to resume the Metropolis Park Millage.
