3-year-old in essential situation following I-94 crash

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– Michigan State Troopers are investigating a crash that left a 3-year-old in essential situation.

The incident occurred shortly after 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Troopers have been dispatched to the westbound I-94 space close to Dearing Street in Jackson County.

Investigators say a 31-year-old girl from Kalamazoo was driving a 2024 Mazda along with her two children, a 3-year-old woman and an 8-year-old boy.

The motive force misplaced management of the automobile and crashed into the guardrail twice. Everybody contained in the automobile was taken to a neighborhood hospital and troopers say the 3-year-old woman is in essential situation.

Troopers consider medicine and alcohol weren’t an element within the crash.
