63 folks killed in crash involving two buses in Uganda

63 folks killed in crash involving two buses in Uganda

A minimum of 63 folks have died after two buses collided in Uganda.

Police consider the 2 buses had been concerned in a head-on collision between the capital Kampala and the northern metropolis of Gulu.

They are saying the automobiles might have crashed as a result of they had been making an attempt to overhaul different automobiles – a lorry and a sports activities utility car (SUV).

The Ugandan Police Pressure mentioned in an announcement: “Sixty-three people lost their lives, all occupants from involved vehicles”.

They mentioned: “As investigations continue, we strongly urge all motorists to exercise maximum caution on the roads, especially avoiding dangerous and careless overtaking, which remains one of the leading causes of crashes in the country.”
