Man killed in automobile crash after hitting a tree in Jackson Co.

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A person is useless from a neck damage after he drifted off the highway and crashed right into a tree, investigators say.

The incident occurred Sunday round 7 p.m. Investigators say the automobile was touring south on Rives Eaton Highway in Jackson County.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Workplace says the unnamed 53-year-old driver from Rives Township drove off the highway and hit a tree, which brought about the automobile to roll over to the other facet of the highway, touchdown on its roof.

Investigators say the driving force was not carrying his seatbelt and alcohol was an element within the crash.

The crash remains to be below investigation.
