Robert Jenrick and Kemi Badenoch will battle it out to be the following chief of the Conservative Celebration after James Cleverly was eradicated from the race.

Tory MPs held a remaining vote on Wednesday to cut back the sphere to a remaining two, who will then go to a poll of Conservative members.

After choosing up 42 votes within the remaining spherical of voting, Ms Badenoch re-established herself because the favorite after lagging behind beforehand.

Robert Jenrick, her shut rival on the precise, picked up one vote shy of Ms Badenoch, whereas Mr Cleverly – who was sen as somebody who might have united all wings of the get together – received the backing of 37 MPs.
