Crews head south to assist with Hurricane Milton

Crews head south to assist with Hurricane Milton

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– The Lansing Board of Water and Gentle (BWL), traveled to Florida yesterday morning to assist communities restore energy.

BWL despatched eight workers together with two line crews and one tree crew on their journey round 6 a.m.

BWL sends 8 crew members to Florida to assist restore energy/ WLNS

Amy Adamy, spokesperson for BWL says the purpose is to assist with restorations and widespread outrages from Hurricane Milton.

Crews are headed for Orlando to begin energy restoration and Adamy says they are going to transfer round relying on the place they’re wanted essentially the most.

“This is the second time I’ve gone on a hurricane, I was down in Urma in 2017, now two hurricanes in the last couple weeks,” stated lead lineman Jack Houghtalint.

As of proper now, Hurricane Milton has made landfall this morning, and we cannot know the extent of the injury till the solar rises.
