Hunter Valley: Girl trapped between boulders after attempting to retrieve cell phone from hole

A lady discovered herself wedged the wrong way up between two large boulders for seven hours after attempting to get better her cell phone from the crevice.

Photos launched by paramedics present the lady’s naked toes between the rocks in Hunter Valley, north of Sydney, Australia.

She had been caught for an hour when her mates, who had tried to free her themselves, referred to as the emergency companies to maneuver the 500kg boulder.

Specialist rescue paramedic Peter Watts, from New South Wales Ambulance, mentioned: “In my 10 years as a rescue paramedic I had never encountered a job quite like this, it was challenging but incredibly rewarding.”

Mr Watts labored with different companies to take away a number of boulders and attain the lady’s toes.

The crew then assembled a “hardwood frame” to make sure no rocks gave means whereas rescuers delved steadily in the direction of the three-metre hole, in response to NSW Ambulance.

It took six hours for the rescuers to clear the positioning and free the lady, with an hour wanted simply to navigate the lady out of the tight “S-bend” hole.

“Every agency had a role, and we all worked incredibly well together to achieve a good outcome for the patient,” Mr Watts added.

The girl resurfaced with solely minor scratches and bruises.

Her cell phone, nevertheless, stays on the backside of the crevice.

The ambulance service didn’t say precisely when the incident occurred however mentioned it was earlier this month.
