Video reveals Labour MP Mike Amesbury punching man in road

New CCTV footage reveals Labour MP Mike Amesbury punching a person on the street.

The brand new video, obtained by MailOnline, reveals the MP for Runcorn and Helsby punching a person, who fell to the ground, earlier than then hitting him repeatedly.

It got here after earlier footage, which circulated on social media on Saturday, confirmed Mr Amesbury shouting at a person, who was mendacity on the ground, saying, “you won’t ever threaten me again”.

In a press release yesterday, Mr Amesbury mentioned he felt “threatened on the street following an evening out with friends” – and added he “contacted Cheshire Police myself to report what happened during this incident”.

The drive mentioned officers have been known as at 2.48am on Saturday to studies of an assault in Predominant Avenue, Frodsham.

The Labour Social gathering beforehand mentioned it’s conscious of the incident and that Mr Amesbury, who has been an MP since 2017, will “cooperate with any inquiries” the police have.
