LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) —The Jackson County Sheriff’s Division responded to a theft Sunday evening, and whereas the suspect remains to be at massive, police made a separate arrest whereas looking the world.

At round 7:32 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to Tate’s Takeout to research an armed theft that occurred within the parking zone. A person was strolling again to his car when one other man carrying a masks emerged from behind his car and robbed him at gunpoint.

Deputies have been joined by officers from the Jackson Metropolis Police Division for an tried K9 observe. Whereas looking, officers discovered a “suspicious male subject” strolling on Francis Avenue close to South Avenue, and deputies tried to “temporarily detain him.”

Police say he resisted arrest and was taken to the bottom and searched, the place deputies discovered a handgun in his entrance pocket.

The suspect, a juvenile, was lodged within the Jackson County Youth Middle for felony firearm, carrying a hid weapon with no license, and resisting and obstructing arrest.

Police be aware that this suspect was doubtless not concerned within the theft.
