LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist, II, issued statements Wednesday reacting to the end result of the Nov. 5, 2024 Presidential Election.

Whitmer served as co-chair for the presidential marketing campaign of Kamala Harris. Harris was the Democratic nominee and misplaced in Michigan and nationally to former President Donald J. Trump.
