College students paint snowplow blades to advertise protected driving this winter

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Highschool college students across the state painted snowplow blades with paintings meant to encourage winter security this winter as a part of the Michigan Division of Transportation’s annual Paint the Plow challenge.

You may see the painted plows round this state this winter—regardless of being painted, they continue to be useful upkeep autos.

The challenge goals to advertise protected driving and lift consciousness of the plow operators who work to maintain the roads free from snow and ice through the harsh Michigan winters.
