Greater than 4,000 books donated to Clinton Transit buses for youths

Greater than 4,000 books donated to Clinton Transit buses for youths

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– Clinton County Regional Instructional Service Company (CCRESA), and Clinton Space Transit System partnered as much as present free books to riders.

The partnership bought greater than 4,000 books positioned on 28 Clinton Transit buses to supply riders and households with free books to take with them.

CCRESA and the Clinton Nice Begin say that using the native marketing campaign ‘Speaking is Instructing’, encourages mother and father and caregivers to have interaction in easy, on a regular basis actions like speaking, studying, and singing to spice up their kids’s early mind and vocabulary improvement.

“Getting literacy materials in the hands of kids and families is part of what we do with the ‘Talk is Teaching’ campaign, so we’re so excited the Clinton Transit is willing to participate with us and work with their families to get those literacy materials in their hands,” Ken Lounds, early childhood supervisor with Cilton County RESA says.

CCRSA says this revolutionary program reaches folks the place they’re, fostering a love for studying and selling literacy in our group.
