Highschool soccer high performers within the Southland

A take a look at the highest performers from Southern California regional soccer bowl video games Friday.

RUSHING

• Timothy Grettenberg, Portola: Rushed for 165 yards and scored 4 touchdowns in an additional time win over King/Drew.

• Isaiah Phelps, Oxnard Pacifica: The sophomore rushed for 96 yards in 22 carries and likewise had 18 tackles in win over Narbonne.

PASSING

• Brady Smigiel, Newbury Park: Handed for 210 yards and three touchdowns, ran for one landing in loss to San Diego Lincoln.

• Keenan Jackson, King/Drew: Handed for 360 yards, together with touchdowns of 86 and 78 yards, towards Portola.

• Dominic Duran, Oxnard Pacifica: Handed for 203 yards and two touchdowns in defeat of Narbonne.

RECEIVING

• Shane Rosenthal, Newbury Park: Caught eight passes for 152 yards and one landing towards San Diego Lincoln.

• Alijah Royster, Oxnard Pacifica: The sophomore caught 5 passes for 91 yards and one landing towards Narbonne.

DEFENSE

• Jahmir Torres, King/Drew: Made two interceptions, caught three landing passes and had a fumble restoration towards Portola.

SPECIAL TEAMS

• Max Magana, Oxnard Pacifica: Recovered two of his group’s three blocked punts towards Narbonne.

• Ryder Sheehan, Newbury Park: Blocked an additional level and recorded a sack towards San Diego Lincoln.

• Dallas Peoples, Highland: Blocked a area objective with lower than two minutes left to protect his group’s two-point win over Coalinga.
