GRAND LEDGE, Mich.(WLNS) — A pair in Grand Ledge needs to make sure that nobody freezes this winter. Dave Burwick and his spouse Anne turned their entrance yard right into a coat drive donation final week.
The drive is positioned at 906 Willow Freeway in Grand Ledge and is open from 8 a.m. to five p.m. every day. Anne says you don’t have to convey a coat to seize a brand new one.

Dave says they wish to assist the neighbors and their neighborhood throughout the chilly winter months.
“We enjoy it. We feel good about it, and it’s just a positive thing,” said Burwick. “I think we’re gonna probably do it for at least a few years. As long as we can do it.”
Burwick says his spouse got here up with the concept—but it surely was a joint effort. He says she drew inspiration from her earlier place as President of the Board at Ledge Craft.
“She thought of this maybe four to three weeks ago,” said Burwick. “She put it on a community Facebook page, and from there, we’ve just got a lot of people donating.”

“We continue to have donations every day,” said Burwick. “People being bags of clothes.”
