CATA implements service adjustments for winter break

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — CATA will change its common routes and occasions as college students head dwelling for the vacation season.

The next adjustments to Spartan Service routes go into impact Monday, Dec. 16, 2024, and proceed by Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025:

Route 1 – Downtown Lansing/Meridian Mall: Weekday departures from bus stops alongside downtown Lansing`s Capitol Loop will proceed to happen as much as eight minutes later than typical Monday by Friday night.

Route 20 – South Harrison/Jolly/Dunckel: The route will journey into Spartan Village throughout the break. Buses will journey into the MSU-CTC/Ramp 1 and serve the Shaw and Farm boarding heart. Weekend buses will depart some stops as much as 5 minutes earlier.

Route 22 – MSU/Haslett/Okemos and Route 23 MSU/Okemos/Haslett: Buses will journey into the MSU-CTC/Ramp 1 and serve the Shaw and Farm boarding heart.

Route 26 – Abbot/Chandler: Weekday service will function on a 45-minute frequency all through every day and conclude at 7:15 p.m. Saturday service ends at 7:15 p.m. There is no such thing as a change in Sunday service.

Route 32 – Commuter Lot/Snyder Corridor/Medical Heart: Campus service alongside Farm Lane and Service Street will function at a 30-minute frequency, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. till 7:25 p.m.

Routes 30, 31, 33-36, 38, 39, Lot Hyperlink and Night time Owl Companies won’t function on MSU`s campus throughout the break.

CATA will implement the next everlasting route adjustments for Downtown Lansing on Monday, Dec. 16:

Route 3 – Willow-Market Boulevard: Monday-Friday, two new early morning journeys will depart the CTC at 5:10 a.m. and 5:40 a.m., and journey to Market Boulevard in Delta Township. The 5:30 a.m. weekday journey will proceed to journey to Saginaw & Waverly. The 6 a.m. weekday journey departing the CTC towards Saginaw and Waverly might be eradicated. One extra weekday morning Capitol Loop journey has been added.

Route 9 – South Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.-Miller: Monday-Friday, buses presently departing South Pennsylvania Meijer at 2:55 p.m. for downtown Lansing will depart 5 minutes earlier at 2:50 p.m. There might be no layover at Meijer on this journey. All stops between Meijer and Hill Vocational Heart will depart 5 minutes earlier, whereas stops between Hill Vocational Heart, and Waverly and Jolly will depart 2-3 minutes earlier.
