A Russian cargo ship that Ukraine claims was despatched to Syria to gather weapons has sunk within the Mediterranean Sea, in line with officers in Moscow.

Two crew members are lacking after an engine room explosion sank the Ursa Main between Spain and Algeria, the international ministry mentioned. Fourteen different crew had been rescued and brought to Spain.

Ukraine’s army intelligence claimed yesterday that the ship had been despatched to Syria to take away weapons and army tools after the autumn of Bashar al Assad.
