Troopers observe footprints in snow to 2 breaking-and-entering suspects

HOMER, Mich. (WOOD) — Two folks have been arrested after allegedly breaking right into a constructing and stealing a number of objects in Calhoun County.

Michigan State Police say they had been referred to as to the scene simply earlier than 9 p.m. Monday on South Hillsdale Avenue close to Plain Avenue in Homer.

“Upon arriving on scene, troopers observed an open door with an obvious breaking and entering,” MSP stated in a information launch. “Troopers were able to locate footprints in the snow which led them to another residence.”

Investigators obtained a search warrant for the house, arrested two suspects there and recovered the stolen objects.

The investigation stays open.
