Prep basketball roundup: Mira Costa wins sixteenth consecutive sport to stay unbeaten

To this point, so good for Mira Costa’s unbeaten basketball group. The Mustangs received their sixteenth consecutive victory Saturday with an 82-29 victory over Agoura to advance to the championship sport of the St. Francis event.

Redondo Union 64, Heritage Christian 51: Sophomore Chris Sanders led Redondo Union (11-2) with 16 factors and Hudson Mayes added 15. Dillan Shaw and Tae Simmons every scored 20 factors for Heritage Christian (13-2).

Mater Dei 99, San Diego Hoover 35: Luke Barnett set a college file with 55 factors, making 12 threes.

Loyola 61, Santa Fe Christian 56: Quincy Watson led the Cubs with 23 factors.

Rolling Hills Prep 62, Inglewood 59: Kawika Suter had 27 factors for Rolling Hills Prep, which held Jason Crowe Jr. to twenty-eight factors.

Chatsworth 66, Crean Lutheran 63: In extra time, the Chancellors prevailed behind Alijah Arenas’ 33 factors. Hunter Caplan scored 34 factors for Crean Lutheran.

Windward 68, St. Augustine 64: JJ Harris completed with 27 factors for Windward.

Crespi 85, Campbell Corridor 70: The Celts (12-4) got here by with a giant win. Peyton White led a balanced assault with 19 factors wherein 5 gamers reached double figures.

Harvard-Westlake 77, Washington Puyallup 45: Joe Sterling scored 20 factors and Nikolas Khamenia 17 for the 15-1 Wolverines.

Crescenta Valley 63, LACES 61: Vaughn Zargarian had 40 factors for Crescenta Valley.

Viewpoint 69, West Valley 49: Wesley Waddles scored 25 factors and had 11 rebounds for Viewpoint, which superior to its division championship sport of the Desert Vacation Basic.

Calabasas 67, Solar Valley Poly 56: Grayson Coleman led Calabasas with 23 factors.

Oaks Christian 85, Pilibos 77: Isayah Garcia made a three-pointer with three seconds left in regulation to ship the sport into extra time and completed with 19 factors for Oaks Christian. Nick Giarruso had 23 factors and Stevie Amar made all 10 of his pictures and completed with 21 factors. Anto Balian led Pilibos with 44 factors, together with eight threes.

St. Francis 71, Westlake 69: Joe Hickey made the game-winning basket for St. Francis. DeLan Grant scored 22 factors. Austin Maziasz led Westlake with 23 factors.

Saugus 54, Eastside 42: Max Guardado made 10 of 15 pictures en path to a 24-point efficiency for Saugus.

Arizona Prescott 83, Rancho Cucamonga 75: Aaron Glass had 38 factors for Rancho Cucamonga.

Royal 72, Orange Glen 20: Ace Arnold made 11 threes and completed with 39 factors.

Mayfair 65, Lengthy Seashore Millikan 61: Josiah Johnson had 23 factors for 11-3 Mayfair.

Dominguez 61, Crenshaw 51: Sophomore Andre Johnson contributed 19 factors and 14 rebounds for Dominguez.

Sierra Canyon 74, Seattle Pacific 30: Jerzy Robinson had 20 factors for unbeaten Sierra Canyon.

Mater Dei 83, Bishop Montgomery 49: The Monarchs superior to the championship sport of the West Coast Jamboree and can face Windward, an 80-47 winner over McClatchy. Kaeli Wynn had 28 factors and 12 rebounds for Mater Dei.
