Jackson County deputies examine lethal crash

Jackson County deputies examine lethal crash

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A crash in Jackson County over the weekend killed a Detroit space man.

In response to the Sheriff’s Workplace, deputies have been referred to as to “I-94 westbound near Mt. Hope Road in Grass Lake Township for a jackknifed semi-truck that was involved in a weather-related crash.”

Nevertheless, in some unspecified time in the future after that decision, deputies have been informed the motive force of a 2019 Chevy Silverado crashed into the semi-truck, killing the person behind the wheel.

James Bevins, 75 from Taylor, was the motive force of the Chevy who died.

The Sheriff’s Workplace says neither pace nor alcohol contributed to the lethal crash.
