LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — What’s outdated is new once more starting Saturday in Secretary of State places of work throughout the state.
The state has launched photos of the 2 new “classic design” license plates that can be out there for order starting Saturday. The plates are the blue Nice Lakes plate and the black Nice Lake State plate.

The choice to make these plates as soon as once more out there dates again to 2023 when Gov. Gretchen Whitmer signed Public Act 317 of 2023 creating legacy registration plates which can be replicating designs from the 70s and 80s.
The associated fee for one among these plates can be $55 and can price $10 every year for renewal. The workplace stated $50 of the sale of every plate can be deposited into the Michigan Transportation Fund (MTF) which funds highway upkeep.
