Hillsdale County man sentenced for threatening prosecutor

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A person from Hillsdale County will serve round 4 months in jail for posting threatening messages on Fb whereas out on parole, Michigan Lawyer Basic Dana Nessel introduced Monday.

30-year-old Paul Hawkins, at the moment incarcerated at G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility in Jackson County, was sentenced to 133 days in jail.

Whereas on parole in Might of 2024, Hawkins posted threatening messages on the Hillsdale Metropolis Police Division’s Fb web page.

These messages have been directed towards Hillsdale County Prosecutor Neal Brady, who was the elected prosecutor on the time of Hawkins’ earlier prison convictions.
