LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– One individual has died following the early morning home fireplace in Jackson County, Deputy Chief Tim Gonzales tells 6 Information.
Deputy Gonzales says one resident was exterior when fireplace crews arrived on the residence and have been advised one other individual was inside. Somebody was then pulled out of the hearth and was pronounced useless shortly after.
The hearth erupted round 2:30 a.m. at a single-story residence on the 300 block of N. Forbes St. Firefighters advised Mlive that the flames have been popping out of the entrance porch and in the lounge space. The reason for how the hearth began is underneath investigation.
