LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Present Lansing College District (LSD) Superintendent Ben Shuldiner is now among the many high 4 candidates to run the nation’s fifth-largest faculty district—the Clark County College District positioned in Las Vegas, Nevada, which providers greater than 300,000 college students in virtually 400 faculties.

The shortlist was initially down to 6 candidates, although in response to our sister station KLAS, one of many candidates dropped out whereas the opposite was lower in a vote by the CCSD Board of Trustees after questions had been raised about his file of firings from different faculty districts.

Shuldiner has been on the helm of LSD since 2021.

The CCSD faculty board is planning to interview the candidates subsequent week, and trustees will additional slim the pool of candidates and maintain interviews on March 10 and 11.

Trustees plan to vote on a brand new superintendent on March 13.
