A style of Spring to shut out February

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — We’ve got a short style of Spring throughout Mid-Michigan this week, with spring-like temperatures and some possibilities for precipitation throughout the realm.

We will likely be handled to partially cloudy situations for the remainder of our Monday. It will likely be breezy, with winds persevering with to gust between 20-30 miles per hour throughout the realm this afternoon. The sunshine and winds out of the southwest will assist to deliver hotter temperatures into our area, with excessive temperatures topping out within the mid to higher 40s for the day.

Winds

Winds will slowly settle down in a single day as our first probability for precipitation strikes in. A fast-moving and weak clipper system will transfer in in a single day, bringing the prospect for a couple of showers to Mid-Michigan. We’ll maintain on to the prospect for a couple of sprinkles early Tuesday morning. By 9 – 10 am, we’ll start to dry issues out. Most of our Tuesday will likely be spent below dry and largely cloudy situations, with temperatures climbing into the mid-40s.

Spring-like situations will proceed as we transfer into our Wednesday, as one other system strikes in. Precipitation will transfer in late Wednesday morning.

We’ll probably begin with a mixture of rain and snow, however temperatures will rapidly heat, with precipitation transitioning into rain by Wednesday afternoon with highs within the low 40s.
