LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)— Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and the Michigan Division of Labor and Financial Alternative’s (LEO) Workplace of Rural Prosperity have introduced the recipients of $1.3M in Rural Readiness Grants.

LEO reviews that the Rural Readiness Grant Program will present crucial assets to communities that face financial hardships. They are saying these investments will create jobs and foster financial progress.

This funding will assist native governments, nonprofits and financial growth organizations develop tasks that, “enhance infrastructure, build housing and health initiatives, expand workforce development programs and promote long-term economic success.”
