MDOT to shut components of I-96 subsequent week

MDOT to shut components of I-96 subsequent week

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The Michigan Division of Transportation will start closing components of I-96 close to Dimondale for bridge upkeep subsequent week.

The closures (MDOT)

Westbound I-96 between Lansing Rd. and M-99 could have one lane closed from 9 a.m. subsequent Monday till 5 p.m. Tuesday. Moreover, eastbound I-96 between Lansing Rd. and Creyts Rd. could have one lane closed from Lansing Rd. to Creyts Rd. from 9 a.m. Tuesday to five p.m. wednesday.

Whereas these closures have been brief, the northbound Lansing Rd. ramp to westbound I-96 will shut Monday and won’t reopen till Aug. 29.

MDOT is encouraging motorists to take Lansing Rd. to northbound I-69 and take it to westbound I-96 in lieu of the on ramp.
