Ingham County is not going to search costs in December taking pictures loss of life

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The Ingham County Prosecutor’s Workplace is not going to pursue felony costs within the December 2024 taking pictures loss of life of 36-year-old Deandre Luckey—concluding that the person who shot and killed him did so in self-defense.

On Dec. 29, 2024 at round 10:40 p.m., officers from the Lansing Police Division had been dispatched to the 4900 block of Belle Chase Blv for a reported taking pictures. Officers discovered Luckey and a 25-year-old man with gunshot wounds after they arrived.

Luckey was discovered exterior of an condo complicated with a number of gunshot wounds to his higher physique, and was taken to McLaren Better Lansing by way of ambulance.
