Prep discuss: Scholar soccer athletes to be honored Sunday

Greater than 75 highschool soccer seniors will probably be honored on Sunday for his or her achievements on and off the sphere on the annual Coastal Chapter of the Nationwide Soccer Basis and School Corridor of Fame banquet on the Canyon Membership in Agoura.

Simi Valley coach Jim Benkert has been working for weeks to assemble the highest scholar athletes from this fall. Those that have put collectively excessive grade-point averages and carried out properly on the sphere obtain recognition. For the primary time, ladies’ flag soccer athletes will take part. The areas of Ventura, the San Fernando Valley and Antelope Valley are represented.
