Out-of-state assist mobilized to assist northern Michigan ice storm restoration

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Michigan will obtain out-of-state assist from the Indiana Division of Transport (INDOT) after an ice storm devastated northern decrease Michigan two weeks in the past.

Michigan State Police (MSP) say the assist was secured by way of the Emergency Administration Help Compact (EMAC). That is the primary time the state has requested the sort of assist.

The Michigan State Police Emergency Administration and Homeland Safety Division (MSP/EMHSD) is working alongside the Michigan Division of Transportation (MDOT) to usher in 4 particles elimination groups from Indiana.
