JACKSON, Mich. WLNS — There was rising concern about doable cuts to Medicaid.

U.S. Consultant Tom Barrett (R-Lansing) and U.S. Senator Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) have two very totally different stances on its significance, and on who must be eligible.   

“It’s been a lot of evolution of the program over time that hasn’t really kept up with the accountability of those that may have been put on Medicaid in an inappropriate fashion before,” mentioned Barrett. “We want to make sure that those people are no longer on Medicaid if they’re no longer eligible for it.”
