'Not a protected space': Neighborhood reacts to toddler demise in South Lansing

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Police are persevering with to research the demise of an toddler on the south aspect of Lansing, and those that dwell in the neighborhood close by say they’re shocked and unhappy.

Police say the kid died within the 200 block of Dunlap St. on Monday morning. Investigators imagine the toddler and two adults have been residing within the residence’s indifferent storage. No arrests have been made, however the investigation is ongoing. Police have but to launch the gender and actual age of the toddler.

“Oh yes, I was traumatized last night. I didn’t see the baby, but just knowing that a baby died down the street, that really hit close to home,” mentioned the girl. “We are looking to move too, because this neighborhood ain’t safe.”
