An Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner needed to return to Hong Kong mid-flight after a suspected technical challenge.
It isn’t but recognized what the suspected technical challenge flagged by the pilot.
Flight AI315 took off from Hong Kong at 12.16pm and landed simply over an hour later, in response to monitoring knowledge on Flightradar24.
“We are providing all necessary on-ground assistance to the passengers to minimise the inconvenience caused by this unforeseen disruption,” the spokesperson added.
The plane is now present process checks, Reuters reported.
Boeing didn’t instantly reply to a request for touch upon the Hong Kong-New Delhi flight.
It comes simply days after an Air India Dreamliner catastrophically crashed shortly after take-off from Ahmedabad airport in western India, killing 229 passengers and 12 crew, with one individual surviving the crash.
UK Overseas Secretary David Lammy stated the primary British deaths within the crash have now been formally confirmed.
“My profound condolences to all in this moment of shared grief,” he stated on X.
