JACKSON, Mich. (WLNS) — Jackson Public Colleges goes electrical.

After a full 12 months on the street, the brand new electrical buses are making a distinction — quieter rides for college students, cleaner vitality for the group, and financial savings that go proper again into the classroom.

Tuesday, the group gathered at Loomis Park as college leaders and Highland Electrical Fleets showcased the progress of the 21 electrical college buses, and the brand new options that may present energy and significant property when wanted essentially the most.

“We have food services out serving the community with a little luncheon and showing them how the electric vehicles can generate power and give back to the community,” mentioned Superintendent Jeremy Patterson.
