Nigel Farage has stated Reform’s ex-chairman made “one little mistake” by liking an antisemitic social media publish about senior Tory Robert Jenrick and his Jewish spouse.

“Robert Jenrick in government made a lot more mistakes than Zia making one little mistake for which he immediately apologised.”

An nameless X account posted a video showing to indicate Mr Yusuf’s account had appreciated a publish on Friday which stated: “Reminder that Jenrick is a traitorous Zogbot with a Jewish wife and family.”

A Zogbot is slang for a conspiracy concept claiming that Jews secretly management Western governments.

Mr Yusuf, a multimillionaire businessman, stated certainly one of his crew “accidentally pressed like on an awful antisemitic tweet” and stated: “I apologise for this.”

He stated the publish is “equally racist against me” because it refers to “brown savages”.

“Clearly it was not intentional”, he stated as he claimed the quantity of antisemitism and racism on X is “spiralling out of control”.

However Mr Jenrick stated he calls “bulls***” on Mr Yusuf’s declare that it was a crew member and a mistake.

“You’ve spent the last 48 hours calling me a ‘traitor’ for not drawing attention to a leaked spreadsheet with our special forces and MI6 officers’ names on,” the Conservative tweeted.

“But we’re meant to believe this tweet attacking me as a traitor for having a Jewish wife and family was liked “unintentionally” by “one of many crew.” You must think we’re all thick.

“No. The masks has slipped. Likes are non-public. You thought no one would ever know. Sadly for you, the racist account who posted the tweet and will see the likes uncovered you.

“Reform should give you the boot.”
