Davon and Tavon Woods, former foster youngsters themselves, are strolling 10 miles in each U.S. state to spotlight alternatives obtainable to foster youngsters, in addition to seeking to expose the challenges they face.
The brothers completed their Michigan steps on Tuesday in Lansing.
The 2 returned to Michigan to file a podcast in Jackson on Sunday after receiving an outpouring of group assist.
The brothers are from South Carolina and say that they’re grateful to obtain assist so removed from dwelling.
“We’re from South Carolina, so it’s like to be able to get that so much that much love and support from a place that we’re not even from. It goes to tell you that we’re at least doing something right,” mentioned Davon.
“A lot of kids in foster care feel like they don’t have a voice. So we’re the voice for the voiceless, even adults. So, just sharing our story and hopes to inspire kids all over the world,” added Tavon.
