LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Michigan State Police say the driving force of a semi-truck is alive after crashing right into a bridge over I-96 southeast of Howell.
Police say the crash occurred at 10:45 Monday morning when the driving force, a 65-year-old man from Harper Woods, misplaced management of the truck and hit an overpass close to Exit 141.

The drive of the crash brought on the trailer and cab to disconnect, leaving the cab to proceed ahead one other 100 ft, ending up in a ditch however not hitting anybody. The trailer stayed on the interstate, however was blocking all westbound lanes.
State Police say the westbound lanes of the interstate will stay closed for a while because the bridge must be inspected for injury.
The motive force obtained minor accidents and was handled on the scene.
