Whitmer will tackle federal tariffs, final week’s jobs report, a looming federal authorities shutdown and Michigan’s manufacturing sector, which is projected to be impacted by tariffs.

The report Whitmer is referencing revealed that the U.S. added 258,000 fewer jobs than what was first reported, drastically altering the image of the U.S. economic system. U.S. Home Republicans have been working to move short-term funding that may hold the federal authorities open come Oct. 1.

The speech is scheduled to start at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday. Viewers can watch stay within the participant above.
