LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Hillsdale School, a Christian liberal arts faculty positioned in Hillsdale, Michigan, introduced on Sunday that it’s going to honor conservative political activist Charlie Kirk with an honorary diploma.
“He’s gone to the lord; he deserves his reward,” Hillsdale President Dr. Larry Arnn stated whereas talking at Kirk’s memorial service in Arizona.
He provides that the college is working to arrange a scholarship for Kirk’s kids to make sure that “they will go to a good college.”
The college plans to provide the honorary diploma to his household within the spring.
Kirk was shot and killed on Sept. 10 whereas debating on the campus of Utah Valley College as a part of his “American Comeback” tour.
The suspect shooter, Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old resident of Utah, has been charged with aggravated homicide, felony discharge of a firearm, two counts of obstruction of justice, two counts of witness tampering, and committing a violent offense within the presence of a kid.
