State Police plan statewide visitors crackdown

State Police plan statewide visitors crackdown

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Michigan State Police troopers might be cracking down on distracted and reckless driving Monday.

In a put up on X, the MSP First District introduced plans for a “statewide traffic initiative enforcing the Fail to Move Over Law.” The company experiences troopers from 5 of the company’s districts will take part, together with officers from the Jackson and Monroe posts.

Troopers might be on the street “looking for reckless and distracted drivers” from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29.
