Weinfeld says if state companies are to be paused, the governor’s workplace wanted to have been extra clear in regards to the chance weeks earlier than Tuesday’s deadline.

“The governor should have sent off layoff notices according to the union contracts, layoff notices that go out two weeks before a shutdown occurs. We haven’t seen those yet, but you can expect layoffs to occur,” Weinfeld stated.
