Jones says he first witnessed spirit exercise within the constructing’s entrance stairwell: “I actually saw a full-body spirit going from the first to the second floor. We’ve had doors open; we’ve heard people walking above us.”

DDA Government Director Beth Kuiper mentioned tickets are decreased this 12 months to $10 to make the occasion extra accessible for households. She mentioned proceeds will likely be reinvested in downtown preservation and group property.

“What we do is we take the funds from events and then we shift them around so that every single demographic has something to do, and we can highlight our businesses—restaurants, retailers, service industries,” Kuiper mentioned.

Kuiper encourages residents to affix what she referred to as a “one-of-a-kind” spooky journey. “It’s the experiences that we continue to go back to. We just want to provide something interesting—whether you’re a family or a nightlife goer—something for everyone,” she mentioned.
