A Peek into the Competitive World of Tradeshow Brand Ambassadors with Daniel Parlin

Meet Daniel Parlin of Las Vegas, NV. Over the last few years, he has found himself in the elite company of upper echelon tradeshow booth ambassadors.  As a male ambassador or “booth babe”, he can be spotted in action at virtually every convention space in and around Las Vegas. Daniel wears many hats and is also an experienced production assistant, product specialist and lead generator who has racked up over 200 tradeshow activations to-date.  With 8 years of convention experience, he can sell the benefits of any product or service to attendees, and has won his booth the coveted “Most Loved Award” multiple times at Las Vegas Convention Center. He has built an impressive network of industry contacts, and he has all access at the major convention halls in Las Vegas.

Daniel’s background in modeling, inside sales and marketing have equipped him with a clear understanding of ambassador expectations and nuances. Daniel relies on strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage attendees. He is of the notion that these soft skills are invaluable. Dozens of top-tier ambassadors have already endorsed his work ethic and drive to succeed on Trusted Herd, the largest live event job and reputation site in the US and Canada.

Daniel is recognized for his ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure to deliver quantifiable results. A recent one-on-one performance review with Silver & Black Hospitality mentions Daniel’s “… capacity to think creatively and quickly solve problems by being resourceful.”  Additionally, feedback from management at Venetian Expo Planning remarked that Daniel consistently demonstrates an “ability to adapt to changing situations and remain calm and composed.” Trade Show Executive Magazine recently caught up with Daniel in-between running mics during a general sessions and keynote, and called him “One to Watch.” His consistent ability to re-book with top model and experiential marketing agencies is a testament to his dedication, commitment, loyalty and professionalism.

Daniel considers himself to be a Swiss Army Knife, i.e., someone well-rounded in educational background, professional expertise and identifiable skill set. He thrives at initiating conversations and driving traffic to the booth. Time and again he exceeds quotas for sales and badge scans. His calendar is consistently booked two months in advance. Taking Daniel’s availability, references and performance feedback under consideration, the smart bet is to act quickly and book him.

When Daniel is not busy overachieving in the world of BAs, he bartends at a downtown nightclub and at the MSG Sphere. He is Lead Bartender at the Keep Memory Alive event space, sister property to Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits. He was nominated Best Bartender in Las Vegas three years in a row by Vegas Seven Magazine.  Daniel takes immense pride in winning over clients and being asked back for future opportunities. He also leads teams at stadiums, arenas, convention spaces, as well as bars, nightclubs, and restaurants. His hobbies include running, boxing, pilates, travel, reading and trivia.
