LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– Former Michigan public well being official Abdul El-Sayed has introduced he’ll run for the open U.S. Senate seat.

Based on the Related Press, El-Sayed ran for governor in 2018 as a progressive Democrat and was endorsed by Senator Bernie Sanders.

El-Sayed mentioned he’ll lay out an All-American imaginative and prescient for a authorities that places individuals first.

On Monday, former U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers introduced that he shall be operating for a seat within the U.S. Senate, searching for the Republican nomination as soon as once more.
