All clear after fuel leak at Michigan State campus

All clear after fuel leak at Michigan State campus

UPDATE: Michigan State College confirms the fuel leak has been stopped. “Just before noon today the Ingham County 911 Center received a call about a gas line that was punctured by a work crew in the area outside the MSU Multicultural Center near N Shaw Ln and Farm Ln.,” Nadia Vizueta, Communications Manager for the Dept. of Police and Public Safety told 6 News. “The East Lansing Fire Department and MSU Police and Public Safety quickly arrived and closed the roads in the area and prevented pedestrian access around the site as a precaution. The utility company arrived on scene and had the issue resolved just before 12:30. Roads in the area are not back open”

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A fuel leak has been confirmed in the course of Michigan State College’s campus.

Michigan State College Police and Public Security reported in an alert despatched to college students that there’s a fuel leak exterior the Multicultural Heart, close to North Shaw and Farm Lane.

Officers are asking folks to please keep away from the realm. Our 6 Information crew on the scene says they may odor fuel.

Gasoline leak secured on Michigan State campus, roads reopen

Public security assets are on the scene and are working to deal with the leak.

Officers say roads could also be closed within the space.
