Auschwitz remembered: Why we should always always remember

The eightieth anniversary of the liberation of the German Nazi focus and extermination camp Auschwitz is marked on 27 January. It is a day for remembering the horrors of the Holocaust, and different more moderen genocides.

However with many survivors now of their outdated age, how will we protect their tales and accounts of what occurred for future generations?

Niall Paterson visits the Imperial Struggle Museum to talk to historian Dr James Bulgin, who’s the museum’s head of public historical past, to study extra concerning the significance of sharing the teachings from the Holocaust, and the way finest to take action in an more and more polarised world.
