Bellevue Village warns of micro organism in water provide, points boil water advisory

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The Village of Bellevue has issued a boil water advisory after exams detected whole coliform micro organism within the water system.

Village Supervisor Nicole Roberts stated the advisory will stay in place till at the least Friday, Sept. 12, 2025. She stated there was no water primary break, and the supply of the micro organism is unclear.

Water used for ingesting, cooking, brushing tooth, or washing meals ought to be boiled for at the least one minute and cooled earlier than use.

Bellevue Group Faculties stated on social media that ingesting fountains will likely be shut off. The district is working to offer bottled water for college students and workers. Meals providers will even be adjusted as wanted.
