EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)— Bernie Sanders mentioned ladies’s rights, local weather change, and wealth inequality through the Harris-Walz marketing campaign. 

Senator Bernie Sanders was joined by United Auto President Shawn Fain to assist increase the Harris-Walz marketing campaign this Sunday afternoon at Michigan State College. 

The 2 spoke to voters younger and outdated about combating for the longer term throughout this election. 

Sanders says the rationale he joined the marketing campaign was to make sure that Kamala Harris is the following president of the USA. 

In his speech, he mentioned the overturning of Roe v. Wade, local weather change, and wealth disparities inside the nation. 

He says the richest individuals in our nation are doing effectively, however that is not the case for a lot of different Individuals. 

“We have got to bring our people together. To create an economy that works for all of us. Not just the billionaire class,” stated Sanders. “So, what we’re seeing right now, working people are struggling. People on top never had it so good and we need a government that protects all of us, not just wealth campaign contributors.”

Sanders additionally says that 60% of U.S. residents reside paycheck to paycheck. 

Fain praised the Biden-Harris administration for his or her accomplishments and desires Michigan voters to deal with labor rights. 

“We stand together as working class people. When we withhold out labor,” stated Fain. “Nothing moves and that’s what this movement is about. Working class people have to take our power back by standing together.”

Fain and Sanders visited Grand Rapids earlier right now.
