Bike-involved crash close to airport sends 2 to hospital

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A crash involving a bike and a CATA van despatched two individuals to the hospital and closed roads close to the Capital Area Worldwide Airport Monday afternoon.

The incident occurred at round 1:30 p.m. within the 4100 block of N Grand River Ave., near the Capital Area Worldwide Airport. Police closed the highway whereas responding.

In line with a Lansing Police Division spokesperson, the bike and a van had been each touring east on Grand River Ave. after they collided.

The motorcyclist, a 20-year-old man, was taken to the hospital with crucial accidents. The motive force of the CATA van had minor accidents and was additionally taken to the hospital. CATA is totally cooperating with police.

LPD says the motorcyclist was dashing.
