The headteacher of a major college in Australia has referred to as the dying of an 11-year-old boy in a automotive crash a “complete tragedy”.

The driving force of the automotive, a 40-year-old lady, crashed into the fence whereas making a U-turn after gathering a baby from the college.

She was arrested on the scene and has since been launched pending additional enquiries. The kid passenger within the automotive was not injured.

Talking in regards to the crash, Victoria’s premier Jacinta Allan mentioned “a dark shadow has been cast over our city and state”.

She added: “I know tonight Victorians will be thinking of Auburn South Primary, and holding our kids even closer.”

In the meantime, headteacher Mr Wicher additionally praised the emergency companies who responded to the crash, together with workers and fogeys.

He mentioned: “The response from our local community has been overwhelming and I extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has reached out with such generous offers of support.”

“This school community is so wonderful and strong, and together we will get through this,” he added.

“It appears it is a tragic accident,” Detective Inspector Craig McEvoy, from the police’s main collision investigation unit, mentioned.

Video footage from the scene confirmed the automotive with harm on its entrance left facet.
